Looking with a blank stare with no feeling at all.Huh...another moment in my life where I feel there is a need for something to happen..something to just happen to spark me up in my life.When Jason asked me.."How's life?",all I could mutter out under my tired breath is.."Well..it is an unhealthy life." By just saying those few words..I feel that yet again..my eyes have become much smaller..and much less receptive towards ideas that run up and down and pass me in my daily life.Often, I could not care less with what is going on in my life."Oh look!It is 5am plus!What am I still doing being awake at this ungodly hour?"."Now showing!Endless reruns of monotonous lectures and assignments"."Memories fly by me".What's worse..knowing that the enormity of the situation is much less than what I am perceiving and being apathetic towards the task of turning it around.Truly..I am an idiot.

Well,the other day,I went out with an old friend of mine who has just came back from outstation.Course,this is not the first time I've met him since he came back a few weeks ago,yet it is kinda cool since the rest couldn't make it for the day to to everyone's busy schedule and it's kinda like well,only 2 of us are hanging out together for the afternoon.It is pretty nice just to see the kind of friend whom you've known for a very longg time and it's equally great just listening..and trading stories with what has been happening with our lives currently.And the occasional references to events long gone never fails to evoke fond laughter that can only be shared with those whom you've known for a large part of your life.

At first,the trip to meet up my friend does feel a tad bothersome for me since I was feeling extremely tired due to the morning lectures I have just attended plus the aforementioned unhealthy lifestyle I am living.Yet,things do turn out in a way one least expects it to be..truly a timeless piece of wisdom from whoever thought it up in the first place.

I reached the place where we are supposed to meet up early,so naturally, I had time for myself.God it felt like ages since I've had time for myself.My mind has been a constant blur for some time now doing things and it's great just to take things really slowly and just let my mind drift away from the constant grind of living.It was nice just watching people passing through and fro from the bench I was lazing at.I even managed to take the longest time to browse the music store and got a really nice cd by Oscar Peterson and Joe Pass.And to top off all that jazz,I noticed how simple our people could be when I saw a group of Malays waving at David Arumugum,the last surviving member of the Alleycats.Truly amazing.And he was just dressed up in the most simplest but proper manner 'tapaoing' his food in a lunchbox.Our people truly are a bunch or simple folk.Kinda sad to see how complicated matters could turn out to be when the ball lands on the politicians feet.

One thing struck me during the conversation with Kuharaaj. We just watched a movie on the 15th attempt of Hitler's assasination titled Valkyrie. Naturally, our talk revolves around all the hoohahs surrounding Nazis and eventually,it hit this point where we were talking about freedom.Sort of.

"It is kinda sad to see how the majority of people duduk atas pagar huh.First they supported Tom Cruise's character,then they deserted him when they found out Hitler is still alive..wat the heck?Sadlah.Imagine what could have happened if they stuck with him til the end!Problem solved".
"HAHA you just look at Perak lah,now we got 2 governments!HAHAHA!Anyway did u read the news about the duno who some kinda catholic priest..I think he's a Bishop or something.Well they was this interview bout the Holocaust and they got him to ask for his opinion regarding the subject.And it just happened that he replied 'Well in my opinion,logically there should only be about 100k deaths,not the millions and billions it is said to be'.And for goodness sake after that piece of opinion the man gave,he got blasted by all quarters flaming him with being pro-Nazi and all that.He even got fired or something by the Pope I think not really sure though.Pity the man,they just asked for his opinion and he just answered based purely on his own opinion and he got condemned?Sure I might not agree with what he said but dude,I'll say give the guy a break!What do you think?"
"Dude that fella is wrong!", I found myself speaking without thinking.
"Man..are you serious?That guy is just stating his opinion.He is not entitled to be persecuted just because of that?And they did chose him for an interview!Does he really has to say what the others want to hear?"

And I got lit up all of a sudden.Oh my God what has gotten into me?I have gotten really numb and oblivious to what is happening around me!Why?Why must society has to seep in to the norm?Are we really just another brick in the wall?Couldn't we muster enough strength of will must we really accept anything as it goes just as we are told to do it?Aren't we allowed to scrutinize and comment?It is not that we are purposely purporting trouble or trying to cause trouble.Why can't we be left alone in peace with our own ideas in our head and continue to live harmoniously with the rest of the people?

And so in the end we just both laughed off the idea of "Freedom of speech" and proceeded to some other funny nonsense to talk about.

New Year!

Hmm well,another new year has come.Obviously.Let's hope for a brighter year ahead of us in these times of hope for change.Not that the past year was an all out gloomy affair.China blew everyone away with a big bang during the Olympics even with all those post-Olympics drama trying to mar the event.And yeah Obama won.Look even the Malaysian BN government got denied their 2/3rds majority during last years elections.Well..hope that this year will be as exciting as the previous one!

Merry Be-early Christmas!

Wish I could have posted this on Christmas Day itself.Wish I could have posted MORE :( Nway it's that time of the year again when people celebrate,give thanks and contemplate on past events and hope for a better future!Which is the reason why I never feel that Christmas is just another passing event after all these years.It is just the break that IMHO everyone needs to cap another passing year.And yeah..all that jazz~nice.To my Christian friends,what better way to do that than by celebrating the birth of Jesus?And to all my non-Christian friends,all are welcomed to join in the fun and revelry of Christmas season!Nice decorations,nice atmosphere and there's even a truly beautiful meaning behind it all.What's not to like? :) So let us all keep the burning candles of Hope,Peace and Love alight and never lose the audacity to do so in the midst of our ever changing world.Some may argue that with light,shadows are even more longer reaching.But heck,take comfort in knowing that the shadows are moving AWAY from the source of light.To what end?Only God knows.Argh in short,let's leave all that omnipotent kind of thinking stuff to God and just focus on doing the simple thing;Keep the flame ALIVE!ROAR!

Well some parts sounded weird at times.This is certainly incomparable if compared to what Karen Carpenter sung.But then again I am touched by the earnestness in its delivery.Spellbound.Apparently the beautiful lady acts as a blind person in a Korean drama thus explaining her seemingly dead and non-existent eye contact.And yeah just the sight of her helps alot too :)

Well Korean dramas aren't my kind of thing and this sure won't make me start watching them.But it sure is nice to know that there are some brilliance somewhere along the line.. ;)

Ice Skating!

Well, I've finally went ice skating!Well..actually I shouldn't phrase it in such an enthusiastic manner since it is one of the things I never expected myself to ever do in my life.But oh well.Going with the flow.

Based on what I have observed,the ice-skating rink in Sunway Pyramid consists of a few kinds of people.I must note that this is just my frank opinion,nothing to do with stereotyping people or being judgemental and all that nonsense.

A more general approach of identification

1)The people who can skate

Skaters with a sense of stability.Graceful/not.Feet not bent outwards.Can move fast/not.Based on the things just mentioned,exactly the opposite of The people who can't skate.Are divided into a few select categories,but I'm omitting it since I don't feel like writing those down.Maybe only for now.

2)The people who can't skate(Beginners)

Basically the opposite of what The people who can skate can do.Note that it is only a matter of skill,with nothing to do with mentality and presentation of one's own self when I mention exact opposite.

More specific roles

1)The sidebar grapplers
Is identified quickly by just..this is not in any way a simple way of speaking but yeah it is in fact a fact..by just glancing over the sidebars located around the rink,simply speaking the perimeter of the rink.Well these group of people hoards the sidebars,for various reasons which I leave to your imagination.Or you can proceed reading the blue text below.

Taking a rest sidebar grapplers
-Self explanatory.

Stalking sidebar grapplers
-With eyes moving up and down and left and right throughout the rink one wonders who exactly are they looking at.God bless those who fall into their line of sight.More often than not,beginners.Nemesis of the bulldozing sidebar grapplers(explained later).

Gloating sidebar grapplers
-Evil.Looks at people who are terrible at ice skating with a triumphant and often malicious satisfaction.Completed with a weird grin on their faces.Only God knows whom among them can actually skate.Depending on that,may like(gloating) or dislike(explained later) bulldozing sidebar grapplers.

Bulldozing sidebar grapplers
-The bane of all other sidebar grapplers.Beginners.Prowls along their territory,the sidebars.Not called prowlers since bulldoze fits their niche better.Walks along the whole perimeter of the ice-skating rink with their hands on the sidebars,clearing out taking a rest sidebar grapplers,stalking sidebar grapplers,gloating sidebar grapplers,and other bulldozing sidebar grapplers who just happen to get in the way.Hated by stalking sidebar grapplers who happen to be beginners because they actually have to move away from their highly desirable activity and risk falling down,colliding with people etc.Liked by gloating sidebar grapplers who can skate simply for the entertainment provided.

2)I am so fast I can't stop! skaters
Likes to think they are moving at the speed of sound.Zips pass other people they deem to be slow,obstructive.Usually,this brings into effect the standoff between either themselves with other types of skaters or other skaters with other skaters.Well they sure might think they can move at the speed of sound and are the embodiment of sound itself.Sadly real life doesn't work like ideal perfect collision and repel.Even if it might be true,it must be funny to have a topdown view of the rink look like pinball.

3)Hold my hand+I'm so scared skaters
Oh well.Generally means A friend who is good at skating is helping the other friend who is not good at skating.I can't figure out whether this is a parasitic,saprofitic,or an epifitic kind of relationship.A note to the good one.Don't forget to look out for the other skaters,not only at your friend.You may be good at skating,and can avoid other skaters accordingly.But there are many who aren't and may just get their first chance(maybe their first chance of falling down in front of you)of falling down.

4)Apathethic Kids
Note that I'm only mentioning those who are totally not aware of their surroundings.Can be adult/real kid but both share the term kids here.Can seemingly get all that they want in life.Move here,there without making use of their stereoscopic vision.I'm not mentioning how many times they actually fell down due to their own fault.If only they knew how many people they nearly caused to fall down/fall in place of them.Could've filled the namelist of a small party.Then maybe everyone could have a great chat about how they are wrongfully accidentad by the Apathetic kids.

5)Showoffs
Really don't feel like saying anything here.Since there is a probability of this thread topic being biased,because I'm not good at skating.But yeah,you know what I mean when you see them.

6)Crazy idiots
Well..look what we have here.A bunch of crazed,lunatic people fit to be sent next to the mental asylum in Tanjung Rambutan.Well,my friends and I are in this group.Hmm this is a real first person observation.HAHA :D


Anyway,I fell 11 times.Ask me personally how I fell down for the type of fall i experienced.Pretty good though for a first time,thanks to my 'a long long time ago' experience in rollerblading.Well I guess its time to wrap things up.To the Blades of Glory! XD
